In line with their brand positioning of ‘We make people happy’, Baskin Robbins wanted to create a unique experience for users visiting the website. Tonic took up the challenge head on to develop a virtual destination called ‘Happyville’, a flash-animated website design with minimal loading time.


The element of user-engagement formed the area of central focus while developing the website features and applications. A simple and pleasant experience was created using Spoony, the brand mascot, as a central character. Refreshing visual-led navigation menus only added to the overall experience and aim to make ‘People Happy’.
Upon a first glance the website reinforces the Baskin Robbins objective: We Make People Happy! This offered opportunities for an ongoing engagenment with the brand. The Baskin Robbins India website resulted in strong online brand presence, helping it reach out to its young, digitally connected Target Group. 120% increase on its Facebook community platform and a delighted but overweight creative team, with all those ice-cream tasting sessions Baskin Robbins lured us into.
